I am a knitter who lives in Lawrence, KS with my boyfriend and two cats.
I thought I should add some more info about myself.
I am a sweater knitter. I used to make scarves and hats and things, but since knitting my first (awful) sweater I have not looked back. I still do knit other things all the time, but I love knitting sweaters best.
I don’t knit for other people unless they really really appreciate it.
A note on the above sentence, I constantly swear that I only knit for myself, but I prove myself wrong all of the time. I seem to be knitting for others at least 25% of the time. I don’t know what happens.
I love animals, all of them, except insects.
I am a ridiculous and random person who leans to being sarcastic almost all the time.
All of the above things about myself prompted the name for this blog.
(Funny aside: The spellchecker for this blog always tells me I am spelling the word blog wrong, and I find that incredibly hilarious.)

Dear Dee Anna, I LOVE Evie’s dress but you did not say which 3 sizes you were knitting. I also don’t know how many stitches are left after the pin tucking. Please send me Details!! I have the yarn and am ready to start two of them for my grand daughters ages 1 year and 4. Both girls are on the small size. Thank you Dottie
It is hard to pick “standard” child sizes, with Evie’s Dress I was shooting for 17” = 1yr 19” = 2yrs and 21” = 3/4yrs.
After the pin tuck round the stitch count is 84(96,108)
