Right now I am singing songs that feature only the word done.
Done, done, done, done done. Done, done, done, done done. Done, done, done DOOOONEEEE. OK, it sounds better singing it than typing it. Well probably not, but humor me.
Why the songs?
Yup, the second blanket is done.
Yarn – Cotton Fleece (215 yds, 2 balls red/2 balls cream)
Needles – US size 8
Modifications: I used larger needles than called for and a different yarn. Also, I ran out of yarn before completing the set number of stripes for the small blanket. I am pleased with the result and thankfully I have no leftover yarn.
This pattern was easy to follow and I really like the finished product, but I suggest knitting one then taking a break.
I refuse to think about the ends that need to be woven in or blocking these bad boys. I will continue to celebrate their completion. I just can’t wait to see the little girls who will soon be receiving these!
Stare into the blankets. What do you see?
